An accident caused her to activate her ancestral jade pendant and she turned into a daughter of a marquis. She asked the emperor to grant her a marriage to the general, but the man did not return home after the wedding, citing the tight war situation at the border. Unwilling to accept this, she disguised herself as a man and went to the border to chase her husband.
